GriefThis Federal Government:Enjoys lavish salaries, gold-plated healthcare, generous pensions, and other elite perks while working Americans struggle to afford food, housing, healthcare, and education; Drains our resources and endangers our safety through endless wars and foreign interventions; Has grown unresponsive to the needs, wants, desires, and mandates of the American people; Applies one set of laws to itself while imposing another set on the rest of us; Writes and passes complex bills that ordinary citizens cannot understand; Has accumulated thirty-nine trillion dollars in crushing national debt; Assumes powers not granted to it by the People; Lies while suppressing the truth; Abuses the power of pardon; Inflates the money supply; Spies on its own citizens. It is therefore not only the right, but the duty of the People to demand the remedies which follow:3. ExodusThe orderly and phased resignation of all 537 Federally elected officials, all 874 Article III lifetime judgeships beginning with the Supreme Court, and the dismissal of their staffs. Resignations shall begin in Congress, followed by the Federal Courts, and finally the President and Vice President. All former federal officers and officials shall be permanently banned from public office. As consideration for their earnest cooperation, resigning officers shall be afforded clemency.4. PromiseThe dissolution of all Federal political parties and factions, as recommended by George Washington in his Farewell Address and as is the right of the People.5. RenewalNew Federal elections shall be completed in time for 2028, with the Nordic Nations consulted for election integrity and security. All candidates and appointees for Federal office shall thereafter be subjected to rigorous background checks in accordance with Executive Order 12968 — “Access to Classified Information” — signed by President Clinton on August 2, 1995.6. RemotionRelocation of the Seat of Government from the East Coast to a new geographic location that is most accessible to the greatest number of Americans and engineered for the Digital Age. Federal buildings in and around Washington D.C. shall henceforth fall under the custodianship of the Smithsonian Institution and the National Park Service, to be maintained for the education and enjoyment of the People.7. HopeA sincere and genuine RESET in American foreign relations, forged anew in the spirit of President Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address:“With malice toward none, with charity for all…”8. The GardenNo later than the year 2100, the United States shall lead all nations in the adoption of laws reflecting Article 12 of the Costa Rican Constitution of 1949 — thereby ABOLISHING WAR as a human enterprise.9. ResolveFreedom is not a time or a place at which we can arrive. Freedom is a journey — a sacred cause Americans embrace even when the costs are terrible. We must never forget those costs, nor that Freedom demands our eternal vigilance, so that its blessings may be passed on not only to our children, but all humankind.America is exceptional because our Republic still stands as an earthly beacon to human liberty and human dignity — the very seeds and soil of Democracy. As America has risen, so too has the whole of humanity, in a grand experiment that has freed a hundred nations while raising billions of out of poverty.10. Fractae-SeraeAs we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our founding, and upon this act of signing — sincerely believed to be an act of justice, warranted by the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights — Project 537 calls upon all Americans of goodwill to restore liberty and dignity to our Republic. With solemn resolve, steadfast courage, and profound hope for the future of America and all Humanity, we affix heartily our names to this Proclamation of Restoration.
